WHO IS A POISE LADY ?

A POISE lady is a woman who lives passionately every single dawn, she believes in whatever her hands find to do and love what she does with so much zeal.

She daily encourages and build up other people around her especially other women ......

A Queen tries so much to live decently even in a failing and shocking present world of ours, so people could draw strength from her (believe in her, listen to her and what she has to offer) .

POISE lady want to build her name, her world, her home, her brand to become a personal brand that feels true to herself among other women of valour in this generation.

She want to make impact in terms of raising the standards in her career and her priority is adding to the development of Humanity in her own little corner.

A Queen is a woman, created by God for a purpose in this generation and she strives daily on working and trying to discover more about this purpose of her calling and fulfilling it.

She works hard at being the best she can ever be, does not have to beg or be a victim playing because she wants to survive.

A Poise lady work hard , invest her very best in all she does and allow God to give the increase on her endeavours.

        As a woman, you may not have it all learn this and you will know contentment in life , you learn to be a problem-solver when challenging situations arises, you learn to be resourceful and innovative in every area you find yourself, you don't know who is watching your input today and who will give you out on recommendation which will showcase you forth someday soon. 

         Lastly, as a woman the  major lesson for life is learning the ability to listen to God for life's decisions, learn to be strong as a woman and be able to cope with whatever life throws your way. Decency and contentment will push doors open for you in many places.

 There is need to have mentors (necessary for life lessons), daily live your life bringing glory to God and for the benefits of humanity.

 A Queen composes herself and continues to learn that life is not a 100- metre sprint but a marathon ( instead of short routes and quick fixes, choose sensible, sustainable routes) 

When things go the other way from your plan, don't dwell on it,  move on with your life and go for the light at the end of the tunnel.

If you can dream it who says you cannot achieve it, today is another day to replan.

Life is all about stories to tell of the good and the bad sides but it's just Grace that had kept such life to be able to tell of such stories. Life hasn't been easy but the courage to face the unknown world and give life and humanity a new perception and meaning makes living a daily privilege to be better than yesterday.

The journey to fulfilment started the day you decided to do things differently and passionately in order to achieve a great success and a name for yourself. It is high time for womenfolk to step out of that enclosed corner and dare to be different as a Girl Child, a daughter, a Lady, a mother. Honestly, at first it might weaken you and make you emotionally drained but the determination to succeed and make a name for yourself in today's world indeed will paved way for many open doors of opportunities that lies ahead.

Ladies, there is much about you than what you think of yourself. You are an hidden treasure that won't be made known to the world until you personally discover who you truly are; you need to unleashed the YOU in the inside to showcase your talent to the world and you will be amazed at the number of people out there who are ready to nurture and groom you to becoming the best version of yourself.

The word, "I CAN" should become your daily supplements to energize you to the beauty of each day and how to make the best use of each dawn.

Never belittle your potential or personality wherever you find yourself because the words of your mouth might be the very solution to the paper works on the table.

I am told to speak on

1. How did I discover my purpose/Passion.

2. How do you discover your own passion.

Well, I would start by saying do you as a person really understands who you are and what is there about your existence?

In life, until a person search indept in the discovery of their personality and reason for their existence in human race, it might not be easy to discuss or search out a passion or purpose in life.

 

If you don't understand why you were created and which brings out the question for what purpose,  there is just no existence of the world "PASSION ".

Everyone of us is uniquely created to affect and impact humanity in a particular way and in doing this effectively and fulfilling brings out the you called The Passion

Passion is about emotions, the motivation and what makes us feel good, i.e. “do what you love”. 

Where passion can be all over the place, wild and exciting, purpose is much more focused.  

The discovery of who we are and doing things we love most that brings us to a fulfilling state brings out the passion.

A person whose fulfilment lies passionately in the entrpreurial world and he or she is in the white collar world,  might at first enjoy the benefit therein but there will be a period of famine emotionally and psychologically where only the passion you derived within you will keep you going, that moment when that is no where to be found indicate you are actually labouring in a wrong field

Passion and purpose discovery encompasses you to never ever look at the background you were coming from but build a ground for others to walk upon.

In discovery the passion, your growing up and circumstances surrounding who you are today might never encourage you to become who you should be but their is an inner man in everyone of us which strives daily to become better and become relevant in the world.

I would start with my experience,  alot of people I meet daily find it hard to believe when I tell them I was born and bred in mushin part of Lagos State, you know why, it's because of what they place was known for all over the world.

But I as so person choose to become a name and a person to be reckon with, I choose never to let my background determine where I go in life but it should be a limelight to make an impact.

Some of us never got the privilege of been a product of silver spoon homes but the passion discovery instinct in us daily charges us to become someone. 

In life, always remember your background should never put you to the ground nor but you to the back but should be that forces that drives you to the hall bringing your table for others to bring their seat and join yours

While I finished from school and got a white collar job, I knew the very month I got the letter this wasn't what I wanted and joking I said it's going to be 5 years in here and  would go on my life fulfilling journey but sometimes in life, whatever we think of ourselves, God would somehow bring it to pass which would make me say this, never think low of yourself or what you found do. 

I left the job at exactly the fifth year and while leaving my colleagues where trying to make my stay which means in your journey to passion and purpose discovery, there are bound to be people who would discourage your dreams and even write it off, some of them may not neccessary be enemies but because they are afraid of the year of the unknown.

While on the journey to passion discovery,  never let the fear of the unknown future get your throwing in the towel.

If some people had faced the unknown and made a name for themselves,  who says you can't become somebody tomorrow yourself

As an entreprenuer/ a career or professional personnel, it is not your educational qualification that will build your brand  and help you get a fulfilling passion for your life, you need to have a  personal development and teachings  on how to build yourself in whatever chosen career you might be but in doing this always try to have rules and regulations that guides your life, its not every motivational speaker or teacher that will guide alright, there is need for you to personally develop yourself.

Read and explore more about what makes life fulfilling,  how to get your career become a success, you need to have mentors who would greatly help you in binding your dreams even when challenges drain you out.

In passion discovery,  seek out a mentor who would always be a shoulder to rest on and will not be biased in teaching you

The second stage says, how  do you discover your passion and calling

You need to itemize the following traits

(1) What is the thing or career you find yourself loving without getting tired of its discovery 

(2)do you see yourself getting fulfilling in the passionate career or profession you choose and does it makes you feel like you are nearing an achievement level 

(3)do a brainstorming session within yourself, how was your life before you started, how do you feel now and what have you been able to achieve, draw out more things you feel you can do or add to make this chosen field a better brand for you

(4)get inspirational and motivation strengths by researching and interacting with older folks who are professionals in the field and how they have manage to survive the challenges of the career,  no profession without their odd periods

(4) is it bringing to your table a means of livelihood and can you survive famine at least on an average scale with it

(5) draw our your short term vision and have a long term mission and vision on another paper work, do you see the dream of having them become a reality

I would say, Nothing in life is done without God and his leading.

As human,  we need directions and leading to succeed hence the need to pray about whatever steps you are taking.

I studied business education and found myself in entrepreneurial world, I thought that was all and just enjoyed writing as an hobby until when I got talking with a older friend who was a expert in the media world and saw I could be better off in media world if only I was ready to groom myself and here I am today, an entrepreneur and also a media personnel.

Passion never ends but it leads you to discover more about what you can do which you never though of.

So, I would conclude here by saying there is a first stage of self-discovery which will birth the passion and the lovr and continuous determination to succeed will further make you understand there is more to what you can become in life than you ever think, at that stage you are on the journey to life's fulfilment of purpose

YOU WILL OVERCOME

          The killer disease called depression is real and silently taking many away. Life is full of many challenges and problems people daily encounter which is stronger than they could bear. 

          When you considered what you are going through, all that is happening around you and a negativity spirit sets in making you look like nothing is working or you might not overcome the challenges, please seek help, speak out to someone cause depression is silently knocking the door. 

          Gradually, you begin to withdraw from the affairs of life and hide it from people under the pretense that all is well but in their closet they are silently shedding heavy tears of failure.

           May God make us stronger than we can imagine when things go wrong, give us grace to hold unto him to see light at the end of the tunnel. No challenges without a solution, it might be delayed but help will come.

          Never give up on yourself, the sun will shine again.

AGITATION FOR SOUTH EAST PRESIDENCY IN 2023 AND WHY IT SHOULD BE ANYIM PIUS ANYIM

         In the country called Nigeria that has witnessed 4 republics, there have been a lot of changes in the way the affairs of the State are run which starts from the Federal level down to the lowest tier of government and that has given rise to the change in power from one political leader to the other. These changes have also been felt at the presidential level and there have been leaders from different parts of the country since independence. The country is divided into six geo political zones which are; North west, North east, North central, South west, South east and South south. These geo political zones have the 36 states including F.C.T. embedded in them and presidents have emerged from some of the zones save for the South east hence the clamour for region asking for an opportunity to run for presidency.

This agitation has given rise to the people demanding for the man who has one time been the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Anyim Pius Anyim. This demand is not hinged on selfishness but on equality and equity to be done on the seemingly marginalised region in Nigeria. There has been little or no effort towards ensuring that the South Eastern people are given what is due to them which is evident even in the number of states in the region as compared to other regions in Nigeria.

The people are willing to give credence to Anyim Pius Anyim because of his achievements in the past as the Secretary to Government of the Federation during Goodluck Jonathan’s tenure as the President of Nigeria, Senate President in the year 2000 and a senator on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party in 1999. In his time as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, he was zealous in serving and rendering of service to the people. He believed that serving is not only for oneself but for the nation at large and as citizens, we are to give our all as we serve truthfully.

          As a people in the Southeastern region, we have come to also understand that he is the man the region wants and needs because of his doggedness towards humanity and mankind. He puts the people before himself as he practices a Christlike lifestyle which is seen in his philanthropic nature. He brought so much zest and deftness in the management and the administrative organ of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. He also is a man who lives up to one’s expectation, accepts as true in giving back to the society, highly reliable, efficient and trustworthy. These traits are evident not just in his immediate family but in his community Ishiagu as the area has seen some developments during his time in governance.

          Furthermore, he has been chosen by the people due to his tenacity and service to the people he had led in the past. He is courageous, bold and carries out his duties without fear or favour. His beliefs are borne out of doing what one can do for the country and not what the country can do for oneself. This was put into practice as he saw to the resolve of disputes and clashes between farmers and Fulanis. He also helped in restoring peace in some broken homes which shows how deeply he cares for people. Anyim Pius Anyim was able to bring about territorial order to quite a few people who were seeking social justice. He also received some accolades from past leaders like Abdulsalam Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida, Olusegun Obasanjo, Prof. Jerry Gana who took him under their wings. They were more than elated to having him under their employ and we all know that such praises cannot be given if they are not earned.

          In addition, this agitation has put into the Southeastern people and the region that they are a society that can have a leader who can lead them as it opposes the ideology that says, ‘The Igbo people have no leader’. They have proven to the country at large that they can come together in cohesion and decide whom they want to lead them on the quest towards not just governance, but good governance.

To add to the above, the people in the Southeastern region have come to understand that power cannot be gotten in divisiveness, but in oneness and in unity. They understand that for there to be a change and to show to the other regions that they can handle the affairs of a nation, they must speak in one voice and in the same vein ensure that their requests are granted. In all fairness, though the region has been marginalised, the clamour for the need of a president from the Southeastern part should be granted which would show to the people of Nigeria that the country is for everyone. And that no one is exempted from running for any political seat. 

         Like the current Governor of Abia State,  Mr Victor Ikpeasu once said ´The only way to eradicate the marginalization of the Southeastern region of Nigeria, is to make themselves indispensable in the scheme of things´. This statement made by him has birthed in the people the zest, zeal, willingness to serve and render service to the people without fear of favour and they are strongly behind the man Anyim Pius Anyim.

In conclusion, he is a man who is dogged, tactful, vibrant, selfless, relentless towards serving mankind, an ardent believer and true worshipper of God. There is a strong belief in his rendering of service to the country at large and to his community.

          These are proofs that he is the man the Southeastern people need to steer the wheels of governance in 2023.

Oh my Dear Nigeria, Giant of Africa who is gradually loosong her strength and agility

Her children have rendered her motherhood vain and futile out of their greed and selfishness

They lack love and seek for one man to himself

It hurt their mother daily as she cries but none to help console her.

Her children are always out on public display to their neighbours and community of the foolery and pretend they love each other and are serving each other in love but everyone knows its all a big lie.

They are after each one's stomach infrastructural development alone and can do anything to pull the other down

Haaa! Who will help this poor Mother call Nigeria?

Her children are all politrickcians who gives morsel to empty the entire cooler behind closed doors.

Who says this center can hold with the way things are gradually and deeply falling apart?

OMOOBA DRE SUBMIT HIS LETTER OF INTENT TO CONTEST FOR OGHA IN 2023

          Earwhile Chairmanship candidate of Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) election, Omooba Oluwadamilare Mohammed Bello (Dre), has submitted a letter of intention to run for the 2023 house of assembly election in the State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

          Dre made his intention known to the ward executive members yesterday when he presented letter of intent signifying his decision to present himself as flag bearer of the PDP in the next House of Assembly election.

          Speaking at the brief ceremony held at the party secretariat ward 4, Dre said his decision was based on calls from various political and other interest groups across the Sagamu community home and abroad urging him to contest the poll.

          Stakeholders of the PDP across the entire 10 wards from the entire local government have already endorsed the Dre's ticket for 2023, indicating that the Omooba enjoys massive support within the PDP hierarchy.

          Reacting to the Dre's declaration of intent, Chairperson of the ward chapter of the PDP, Mrs. Adijat Okulaja said with the presentation of letter of intent by Dre, the process of transition has commenced.
