The body of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Technologist and Pharmacy Technicians Of Nigeria (NAPPTON) federal medical centre Abeokuta chapter, has commended the prompt action and the indefatigable effort of their medical director Prof. Olomu in curtailing the pandemic and shortchanging its morbidity strength.

          Prof. Olomu who has been on high feet since the outbreak of the scourge of corona virus,has not for once relented in discharging the overwhelming duties posed by the rampaging pandemic.

          In a press statement released by the head of NAPPTON unit Dr. Ganiyu Salako PhD, it is said that the medical director has shown genuine and undiluted desire to stop the ravaging virus from spreading beyond its hill.

          “Though there were confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the medical premises but no death case has yet been recorded. All praises to the medical director for a well highlighted procedure of engagement in treating patient, construction of an isolation center in the medical premises and adequate provision of personal protection equipment for health workers in the medical centre”. Salako reechoed.

          “Our members are ready to give their best in providing services and commitment to duty-line in cognizance with international standards. We have the best personnel to boast of”, He concluded.

           The body calls for calmness amongst the people and implore them to actively abide by all precautionary measures laid down by health institutions and the state’s directives for the total extermination of the pandemic.
