          A Yoruba adage says "Eni tán rò pé kò lè pàgó, ó se béè ó kó'lé alárin rin, Eni tán so wípé kòlè jé'nìyàn ó pa dà wá di eni àjítanáwò" (the one who was marked off building a hut, breaks jaw by building a mansion. He who was scorned became a celebrity later off). Many who thought of body shaming him, now find themselves praising him. Many who never believed in him are now among thousands who celebrates him. What a man!

          The event that shook every part of Ogun state and southwest at large was the most celebrated 'A Year Of Unparalleled Achievements' of Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration which coincided with his birthday. No gainsaying that social media spaces were filled to the brim with eulogies and wishes while selected mainstream media were employed to give undiluted accolades to an achiever. What a man!

          Many mouth went agape, many thought went agog, many attackers were rendered impotent and many critics went yonder at the sight of the unveiled achievements that were numerous to be numbered . With what many saw, their impression changed, their prognostication vanished, their hatred evaporated into thin air, because what was done in a year created in them an impulse for change.

          What looks to the oppositions as a mirage now appears as a myriad of feats. What looks like a dead end now appears as an abyssal of opportunities. And he who looks to their blurry vision as unfit has now overwhelmed their elephant's achievement just within a year. So to say, Dapo Abiodun is more than an achiever, he is a conqueror. He has submersed his teeming enemies with his unexpected feat, and they were abruptly caught up in trance. What a man!

          Abruptly, Dapo Abiodun has not only become a governor who has engaged all tentacles in the discharge of his duties but has succeeded in shaping the attitudes the youth towards professing good governance. It's stated with pertinence that the last election saw to the end of a dictatorial government and the wake of a democratic government.

          Obviously, Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown, indulgence in this administration will yield positive result soonest. The youths, citizens; both indigene and non indigene are beseeched to employ patience to their patriotism as the palatable dish of the "better deal" will sumptuously be served as all and sundry will be part of sharer of the democracy's dividends.

          Upon the social, Political and economic quagmire of the "wasted" locusts years of the past, heralded the coming of an "UNCOMMON" President to undertake and "UNCOMMON" situation in the annals of our national history in 2015!! Precisely on this day 29th may 2015.

          The Government came on the political mantra of "change" which was the electioneering slogger of the APC as a party.

          As expected, The government of Buhari created a tripod patterned policy framework and direction in the first term of the government in 2015 which were as follows;

2. ECONOMY

3. ANTI CORRUPTION.

          In a country where the territorial integrity had been hitherto threatened with absolute conquering & control of about 17local government areas by the Boko Haram terrorists, a country where arm banditry, kidnapping (especially in the south), sectarian violence and herders/farmer clashes resulting in death was almost a norm, it was an herculean task on the shoulders of the Buhari led federal government to not only doused the resulting tension but curb/return the Nigerian state to a state of security, economic tranquility and safety of lives.

In this regard the Buhari has had to facilitate with other related countries in the terrorism war to rejigged the multinational joint military force.(Headed then by Buratai)!! The lost 17local govt were recovered, suicide and regular bombings across the NE states stopped including bombings in Abuja, kano, kadun and kogi state. Although in recent times there has been some new dynamic in the resurgence of violence (not terrorism related) like the "herdsmen killings", " zamfara, katsina armed banditry " killings, ethnicity profiling in Kaduna, communal killings in Ebonyi and cross river which are been tackled head on, one can say that the biggest achievement in security for the Buhari administration lies in it abilities to manage, decimate and bringing Terrorism to it knee.

In recent weeks there has been huge progress in the northwest relatively with bombings of enclaves of bandits, the Herders/farmers clashes tamed at the moment.

2. ECONOMY: The basic fiscal dynamics, indices and deciders of the fiscal direction of any economy needing prosperity are the status of a nation's foreign reserve (FR), the economy product culture of the nation & the country's strength to sustain real growth!!

Coming on 29th may 2015, the Buhari govt unfortunate met a paltry $29b as FR, about $2B in ECA, inherited a state of the nation bankrupt without the capacity of about 32states to meet it day to day state running capacity in areas of salaries payment to it workers and other obligations. With an obvious STAGFLATION economy situation, & with no much in oil crude production and selling (owing the international prices shocks) the economy was at a cliffhanger and headed straight into recession.

It took the extraordinary discipline fiscal dynamics of Buhari in areas of resources allocation with priorities, diversification drive into the non oil sector, revamping the solid minerals sectors, Prudent management of state resources through the implementation of TSA/BVN to curb waste and corruption within, created bailout fund/budgets support windows for States across the political divide, prioritised import substituted products, with emphasis on restrictive ban on selected goods and service that can be handled in Nigeria, embarking on a revolutionary infrastructural drive that's seen the revamping of the rail transport in Nigeria, reconstruction of Major roads and undertaking the "audacious" 2nd Niger bridge head on, Lagos-Ibadan (six lane major road) hitherto abandoned, airport remodeling with run way reconstruction in some case. To make the economy drive become more realistic, the Buhari govt in the last five years has invested massively in the agricultural sector which now for the first time in recent history account for more than 2% of the real GDP. Buhari govt made a deliberate inroad in the Agricultural sector with the revamping of about 14 moribund fertilizer processing factories across the six geopolitical zones of the country, created a special borrower scheme (Anchor Borrower Scheme) for Rice farmers across the country. 36billions released to the Edo state govt to drive the palm oil revolution so that the over annual palm oil import bill of about $500m could be history in the shortest possible time.

All the enumerated above have led the economy on sharp recovering from the recession inherited and position us easily again as the biggest economy in Africa at the moment when others like SA are already officially in recession. A situation that's seen the Nigeria economy attracting the real FDIs, having constant monthly/quarterly growth for about three years running. For the first time in history we are having a 20months positive production management indexes without itch. Our modeled ease of doing business pattern has made us among the top10 business interest destination of the world.

          With the second term been built on the ERGPlan (Economic Recovery growth Plan), And with the vice president/Presidential Economy advisory council working round the clock to create a "Post covid19 economic prosperity and direction" there is a bigger and better hope for the country.

3. CORRUPTION: This is the most critical areas the personality and action of the Buhari led govt is usually been accessed!! The President has over the last five years driven a systemic and practical fight against corruption and public funds misappropriation. The EFCC and related anti corruption agencies have recorded massive convictions even against those within the top bras of his political party the APC. Notable among those convicted so far are Senator Joshua Dariye, Rev Jolly Name and recently orji Uzor Kalu(all former PDP Governors but now in APC and are serving senators), more than 500b has been recovered in cash since 2015, more a trillion in assets seizures and forfeitures from corrupt sources and almost $1b recovered in Abacha's loots starched abroad.

In a systemic approach the Buhari govt has reworked the FG procurement laws, implemented TSA, created Projects efficiency unit within the presidency, created the IPPS that's exposed about 80k ghost workers in the FG payroll system that's saving billions into treasury.

        PERFORMANCE ECONOMIC HYPOTHESIS.

- The foreign reserve as at today has grown from $29b in 2015 to about $41b.

- Stable FX management that's seen us driving growth at this critical moment of the world PANDEMIC.

- The financial act 2020 that's created space for the informal sectors to become the real drivers of the economy through the embedded many incentives.

- The infrastructural revolution that's created enabling environment and catalysing economic activities across the 36state of the federation.

- The social welfare package like the NSFP, NPOWER, CCT(conditional cash transfer) the NPOWER since 2016 have been paying a 30k monthly stipend to at least 5k unemployed graduates across the 36states of the federation including the FCT.

          The biggest weakness as observed in the last five years of the administration of Buhari is in the area of weak media presence of the government. The media apparatus of this govt is doing little to enlighten and bring to bare practical information on the achievement and activities of the government. Thereby giving room to fake and malicious information mongers to dictate the narrative.

          Sounds more like an attitude than a wake of a great personality the likes of whom Ogun state has not had, 'Dapology' was coined to accentuate the whole of Dapo Abiodun Innate person.

          "Dapology is a dream to realize, a hope to actualize, a mandate to glorify and a beneficent in disguise."

           Dapology is an everyday attitude and an emblem of responsiveness crystal clearly displayed in the yellow colour heralded by the real deal himself, a fume of happiness and optimism. Dapology is an attitude that makes one ruminate around positivity. it never makes one feel egocentric but fills one soul with humility.

          A dapologized government tenders mercy with judgment and makes people's welfarism the center of its governance. This reopens the eyes of the citizens to the power inherent in the doctrine of democracy. There is now a paradigm shift from aristocracy to democracy in our dear state.

           It wasn't a journey of paddle and canoe but a journey of mortal and pestle. Forestalling party internal clashes, Hovering over election crisis, waltzing through the tribunals, casing out of the appeal court and the final victory at the supreme court have added nothing but toxin to the sugary journey, but we scaled through without a hair drop. What a time!

          Dapo Abiodun discontinued the "you don't vote for me, your axis lacks development" mentality of the previous administration by revamping dilapidated infrastructures and constructing new ones in areas where they are deemed. He never played lopsidedly in the discharge of his constitutionalised duties and also scare-off being tagged a "district's Governor".

          The big staggering elephant has not only crumble the educational system but had seemingly bashed thousands of students hope. The implication of this would have been so grave if not for the prompt intervention of a father who cares. The once sold out institution now runs quality education, All thanks to no other person than daponified governor.

          Here we are, recording milestone achievements within a year, what more shouldn't we expect in seven years to come. Within a year in office, this administration has brought to shore the once capsized ship of the state and captaining it to a better sphere. A sphere of unimaginable greatness at the peak of success.

          Nevertheless, Criminality has edged on high reduction since the new Ogun state breed thugs no more. Teeming youth are now exploring new grounds in the technology world, Agriculture businesses and vocational works with lots of enabling environment created by the Dapo-nistration.

With ground breaking achievements here and there, investors trooping in to partner with us, Agriculture innovations, overhauling of the educational sector, even the blind could see the great future Dapo Abiodun has recruited the finest citizens to build together.

Children's Day Greetings From Honourable Fatee Mohammed

           It is Children's Day everyone and if you know Fateema, you already know how much of a child I am and how much I love and adore children!

            For years, I have had fun with children every Children's day, I have met with them and it was always fun as we all looked forward to it and wished it would not end.

           Not only are Children God's heritage, they are also the light of the world, unblemished, almost perfect and without hate.

           Oh how I looked forward to this day like the other days but unfortunately, my hands are tied, the world is currently going through a tough fumigation!

           Well, I won't fold my hands... I am of the firm believe that this period will pass away soon and our children will be back to school.

           Now, as soon as they return, I Fateema will be visiting six public schools in Ifako-Ijaye with relief back to school materials: In each pack, we will have school bags , school sandals and water bottles not leaving out our miniature bottles of sanitizers.

I will also give out notebooks and textbooks to the children to aid learning, this is to make up for the party we couldn't hold. Further more in addition to the existing 25 kids on scholarship, I would be adding 10 more in the junior and senior schools God willing.

           Children are meant to be celebrated and the pandemic should not hold us down...

The Youths, The Politicians, The Government And Our Tomorrow

          The Youths according to United Nations is believed to be people with the age bracket of 15-24 years, the Ministry of Youths and Sport in Nigeria in 2019 says the youth are people who are in the age bracket of 18-35years, while to a layman, youths are believed to be people between the age bracket of 15-45years old. These groups of people formed the larger part of th population and electorate during elections in a country hence they become vulnerable in the hands of the politicians.

          The Politicians are elected officials into any government parastatals and votef by the people for a period of time. In Nigeria today, We have Politicians and Political elites who have been in the system for decades and still have full force on the governance of the day.

          The Politic elites are those leaders who are in the age bracket of 60 years and above and are ever relevant in the Government of a country. These set of people are so mastered in the system of Government and could brainwashed the youths of the day for the selfish interest. They are so grounded in the system and understood the preys of the weak and fragile youths who would sell their mandates, right and vote for peanuts and crumbles from their table. These generation of political elites have what it takes to keep the youths at the call and beckon and indeed have kept them on the scale of living at the mercy of politicians, only few progressive political elites see the need to build anf groom the youth to empower them to be useful for themselves, the nation and become a leader in the making.

          The Youths of Nigeria had long been deprieved from the kind of morals, exposure, education and mentorship that will empower them to be leaders and ewuiiped politicians in the making for the development of the grassroot, state and National development of the country, which could have given the Youths the voice to demand true and corrective accountability from the political elites in the country.

          The Youths have long been deprived from the mentality of being innovative and competitors with the so-called political elites ruling the country for aged in order to secure the development of Nigeria's economy.

           The Government Agencies and Financial Institutions in the Country are also not helping the with the issues on ground. The employment rate had gotten to the barest minimum which had rendered many youths jobless and idle and even those who choose the entrepreneurial and agricultural sectors have not enjoyed much financial stability and growth with the high rate of interest given to them by the banks, microfinance homes and other financial institutions.

          The Politicians had made the larger percentage of the youth bracket in the country become liability and instruments of political thuggery as a result of unemployment or lack of financial support from family, leaders and Government.

How many of our politicians and leaders are engaged in genuine and functional empowerment programmes to help the youths around them? Majority of such programmes ended up becoming another scam or fraudulent ways of taking the little from this less-privilege under the disguised of helping them, yet they account to using millions of naira meant for the constituency to carry out such initiatives. Until the Youths raise their voice as one to speak against the use of Youths as instruments of destruction by the Politicians it will continue to be a trend till forever.

          In the Youth Community today in our Nation, We have the Educated, Empowered And Privileged who formed a little percentage and are doing well for themselves and seeking the development of the nation while the larger part are the Poor, Deprieved and Angered Youths who are daily becoming destructive citizens and criminals causing the social ills in the land,they are the ones seen as tools for politicians to carry out their agendas and would never be seen as an agents of change.

          As Youths and leaderd of tomorrow of our dear Country, where do we Stand? What happens to our tomorrow if we continue to allow politicians twist our mindset and use us against ourselves in the name of political differences and ideology and they keep stealing our mandates so we do not have the power for corrective participation as youths in the Governace.

          "You have since 1999 lived for the people through your sterling public service performances, first as Commissioner For Works and Infrastructure in Lagos state from 1999 to 2006, followed by your emergence as Governor of the state Osun from 2010 to 2018 and your current position as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in charge of Interior through which you oversee very sensitive sections of Nigeria's internal security like Immigration, Civil Defense, Fire service, Correctional service among other responsibilities.

Lawal Celebrates Muslim Faithfuls; Urges Them To Support The Government In The Development Of The State

          The Special Assistant to the Governor of Ogun State on Youth Matters, Comrade Olamide Lawal, has congratulated all Muslim Youths in the state for successfully observing the holy month of Ramadan.

          Lawal made this known during a media chat with Journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital.

          He explained that the month of Ramadan offers the opportunity for all Muslims to have personal encounters with Allah while obeying His laws.

          According to him "The Holy month of Ramadan is observed every year. Eid El Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims observe fast from dusk to dawn. The month-long fasting, which is considered to be one the sternest one, ends on the eve of Eid after sighting the first crescent of the new moon.

          "Eid El Fitr is one of the most important festivals for Muslims around the globe, it is a day that affords Muslim faithfuls worldwide the opportunity to greet each other, exchange gifts and feast together in love", he said.

           He urged youths in the state to support the efforts of Governor Abiodun in "Building our Future Together", adding that governance requires the support and corporation of every member of the society.

            He further advised youths to pray for the state and country in general in its efforts to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.

            While felicitating with them, Lawal reminded them of the need to use face masks during the celebration and also obey all medical guidelines to prevent the spread of corona virus

Abiodun Wishes Muslims A Happy Mubarak Celebration And Emphasised On The Need To Stay Safe During This Pandemic Period

My family and I celebrate with all Muslim faithful in Ogun State on the successful end of Ramadan, and we are very grateful to Almighty Allah (SWT) for guiding us all through the Holy Month, especially during this time of a raging pandemic.

This is an unusual time that disallows the traditional merrymaking that comes with the glorious end of the Ramadan Fast, so I urge us all to celebrate at home without gathering in large numbers.

I want us all, Nigerian Muslims and Christians, to be grateful to the Almighty that an increasing number of people are recovering from the virus. We should therefore continue to follow advisories on distancing, hand hygiene, face masks, lockdown, and travels.

Ooni Ogunwusi Congratulates Muslim Faithfuls As They Celebrates Eid-El Fitri, Says There Is A Reason To Celebrate

          The Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the world especially those of Yoruba origin as the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end with the annual Eid-el Fitri celebration.

          In a statement by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare, the Ooni who is the Co-Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers explained that there are reasons to celebrate and thank the Almighty Allah for His goodness and mercies in every situations.

Celebration here is not the conventional merriment of social gathering as we all know that there is an order against that especially in this situation we are all face with globally. The Ooni says we should celebrate in our various homes with our families by remembering Allah and why we should not give up in our hope of a better tomorrow.

          "God in His infinite mercy shall accept our fasting and prayers including those we said against the rampaging coronavirus and other enemies of humanity. We've been through a lot together and we can't but be grateful to God for keeping us.

          In his bid to impact his world positively ,He gained a provisional admission into Ondo State University ( now Ekiti State University), Ado Ekiti, to study Philosophy where obtain first degree and also obtained Masters Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies at Lagos State University (LASU) respectively. Egbeyemi did his one year compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ikono LGA of Akwa-Ibom State between 1999-2000 with recordes of positive impacts to the community despite other challenges that could hinder him.After his NYSC,CSP Olayinka got a job with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture & Cooperative as registrar between 2001-2002.

          CSP Egbeyemi began his Police career and a student between  August 15, 2002 to February 2004 of  Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano where he was trained as a Cadet Assistant

Superintendent of Police (ASP). Olayinka began his Police Career in Aguda Police Station, Surulere, Lagos for his one year compulsory attachment, where he spent only 3 months and concluded it at Elere Police Station, Agege in the same community he was raised. where he later became Officer in-charge of the Anti-robbery squad.           CSP Egbeyemi has attended several courses, both at home and abroad, which includes;Peace Support Operation and Anti-Terrorist Course at the Prestigious Centre of Excellence for Stability Police Unit (COESPU) in Italy, Combat craft operation at Gwoza, Borno State, Leadership and Citizenship Training at Shere Hills, Jos Plateau State.VIP protection and Aide-Dc-camp (ADC) Induction course at Police Staff College, Jos, Plateau State in July, 2011. Ad-Hoc duties includes; Joint Task Force (JTF) within the military and DSS in Potiskum, Yobe and Kano State, engaging the insurgents in 2012 and 2014 respectively. CSP Egbeyemi also participated at the ‘South-West Regional Security Management Course (SWRSMC)’ being put together by Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) and office of the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Security and Intelligence. He obtained Diploma in ‘Diplomacy and National Security’ at Galilee International Management Institute, Israel in December, 2018. He is a member of International Association of Chiefs of Police and has attended the IACP Conferences at Philadelphia, Florida, Chicago and San Diego in California 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively in the United States of America.

Amosun Killed Our Health Sector In Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun Emergence Rescued The State From The Sham

          I will always pray for those that played major roles and endured the victimization in the hand of the last administration to birth the existence of the Dapo AbiodunOrg led administration. If not for their steadfastness and persistence, this state would have been in a sorry case in the hands of the stooge of The Emperor and many of this shables would have been covered up in the name of loyalty. Don't forget LOYALTY is their watchword even at the detriment of the state interest and development.

          His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun after ascending the throne of governorship promised renovation of a primary health center in each of the 236wards of the state due to the total neglect of the sector under the acclaimed God and present destructive Elephant of our state. Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world which our country and state isn't an exemption, the governor quickly embarked on an urgent renovation of at least a Primary health center in each local government to meet the present demand of decentralizing of our Isolation centers to meet local and quick response to infected patients at our local level. This development hasn't stop the earlier promised of a PHC in each ward.

          I wept for my dear state during visit to access the state of some of our primary health centers as a team member. Can any reasonable government have done this to her citizens. The e-rats of the Elephant 🐘 are celebrating an uncompleted 250bed hospital which can not meet the needs of the grassroots that needs minor health attention at their various locality. Will a residence of Agbara ward for instance take a ride to Abeokuta for treatment of Malaria? What a misplaced priority. We aren't surprised as this is a norm in their system, same way they killed our state schools’ for an uncompleted modern schools that gulp the wealth of our state.

          Don't forget within his(Dapo) less than one year in office, he has also touched and gave a total facelift to one state hospital in each of our senatorial districts. He equipped them with modern facilities to compete with World Health Organization standard.

          Had Amosun positively touched our schools and health sectors, Dapo won't be doing this much within his less than one year in office.

NAPPTON Applaud Professor Olomu On His Prompt Action In Curtailing Covid-19 Pandemic

          The body of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Technologist and Pharmacy Technicians Of Nigeria (NAPPTON) federal medical centre Abeokuta chapter, has commended the prompt action and the indefatigable effort of their medical director Prof. Olomu in curtailing the pandemic and shortchanging its morbidity strength.

          Prof. Olomu who has been on high feet since the outbreak of the scourge of corona virus,has not for once relented in discharging the overwhelming duties posed by the rampaging pandemic.

          In a press statement released by the head of NAPPTON unit Dr. Ganiyu Salako PhD, it is said that the medical director has shown genuine and undiluted desire to stop the ravaging virus from spreading beyond its hill.

          “Though there were confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the medical premises but no death case has yet been recorded. All praises to the medical director for a well highlighted procedure of engagement in treating patient, construction of an isolation center in the medical premises and adequate provision of personal protection equipment for health workers in the medical centre”. Salako reechoed.

          “Our members are ready to give their best in providing services and commitment to duty-line in cognizance with international standards. We have the best personnel to boast of”, He concluded.

           The body calls for calmness amongst the people and implore them to actively abide by all precautionary measures laid down by health institutions and the state’s directives for the total extermination of the pandemic.

Lagos Reduces Year 2020 Budget Figures By 21 Percent

          Review Is Fallout of COVID-19 Pandemic

The Lagos State Government has embarked on a downward review of the year 2020 budget, precipitated by the negative economic and social effects of the Coronavirus disease on the global economy.

          Making the disclosure, the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Mr. Sam Egube said the process, which was approved by the State Executive Council, aims to reduce the N1,168.6billion budget approved by the Lagos State House of Assembly to N920.5billion.

          Egube recalled that the N1.169trn for Y2020 contained a capital expenditure of N711billion and N457billion recurrent budget, showing a strong preference of 60% ratio for capital projects. He explained that the first quarter of Y2020 recorded a budget performance of 56% (N163.28bn), which is in absolute terms higher than the 68% (N148.38bn) recorded for the same period in 2019.

          Outlining some of the factors that necessitated the review of the Y2020 budget, the Commissioner listed the deleterious effect of the fall in crude oil prices on statutory allocation expectations; the downward pressure on Internally Generated Revenue (IGR); devaluation of the Naira; reduced public and private investment; and increased inflation, as reasons for the overhaul of the projected figures.

          He listed other factors such as the decline in demand for goods and services as well as a reduction in manufacturing activities, which portend lower GDP growth and increased unemployment.

          The Commissioner revealed that Lagos has adopted a holistic approach to the shocks induced by COVID-19, saying the strategies include the maintenance of a Strong Pandemic Response, Restarting the Economy and Reimagining the way the State operates.

          Giving a breakdown of the measures taken by the administration, Egube explained that with the Strong Pandemic Response, the State government will engender food security and safety net mechanisms in addition to economic stimulus, while ensuring public safety and wellbeing.

          “To restart the economy, we are going to optimise the State’s budget for investments in jobs and priority sectors through job creation, economic stabilisation and fiscal consolidation. In Reimagining the State Economy, we will prepare the State to operate and thrive within the new reality with digitisation, business environment reforms, improved economy and diversification of revenue sources”, the Commissioner said.

He gave a proposed breakdown of the revised budget as follows: reduction of the Total Budget Size by 21% from N1,168.562bn to N920.469bn with the financing deficit increasing slightly by 11% from N97.533bn to N108.005bn.

          While stating that the Recurrent Expenditure (Debt and Non-Debit) in the revised budget will decline by 10% from N457.529bn to N411.608bn, Egube stated that 28% reduction has been proposed for Total Capital Expenditure from N711.033bn to N508.861bn.

“The revised Total Revenue represents a drop of 24% in the previous projections from N1,107.029bn to N812.46bn,” the Commissioner said.

          People often say lions are lazy but the true concept is they could lie for hours or day, thinking and awaiting a prey to come by and they devour so also a lion hearted Man might be seen as lazy, carefree, social and nonchalant but in the honest truth, they are using these avenues to strategize and think of ways to launch a new them into action and strike grounds for success.

          Lions are known for their personal strength, they always appear powerful in the animal kingdom which reflects in human with lion heart of their fearless and self-confidence spirit, they are strong, are good explorers, adventurous, brave and determined to succeed. The Lion urine in a circle and roars before going into its hideout, his roar sets other animals around to run in fear and whoever runs and enters that circle becomes it's prey this the Lion did in his waiting and patience period so also a man with the Lion spirit could be patient enough to plan, execute and strike out, they are good hustlers, very hardworking and never stops till they achieve their goals.

          Lion as a king of the jungle symbolize leadership and authority which translates in human that they love to be in authority and leadership post, they make their voice and works a top-notch and recommendable for leadership post, they are always at the frontline making a name for themselves.

          Lions are aggressive and have tempers which makes their roars heard across the jungle, the Lion hearted Man do become aggressive when stepped upon by enemies or rivals and mostly always retaliate, they also set a boundary whoever crosses that bound becomes their prey and they become aggressive and disassociate from such person.

          The Lion as a goal-getter never gives up on his prey till he chase and catches up on them to devour so also the man with the Lion spirit he never gives up, always focus on what he wants to achieve and become in life and do everything it takes to bring such to actualization.

          Despite being the king of the jungle, the Lion has a period of 'Shadow Self' where he goes into hideout, so also a lion hearted Man has their period of withdrawal when they just want to be alone and think, plans and strategize for their next move, they go into withdrawal to re-evaluate themselves and come out a better version to the world.

A Surprise Visit: Snail Seller Meets Her Long-time Customer Who Is Now A State Governor

          Today, the prayers of a popular snail seller, Iya Dare Onigbin at Owena, Igbaraoke in Ifedore local government area, Ondo State was answered after meeting one of her customers who is now a Governor.

           When early today it was drizzling in parts of Igbaraoke, little did Mrs Funmilayo Osunla , know that the rain was a positive omen at meeting one of her long time customers who is now the Governor in Ondo State.

           According to reports, the snail seller had thought any effort put into retaining Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, as customer might not materialise for obvious reasons.

            But, like a loyal customer, Governor Akeredolu, turned up at Iya Dare’s stall after a long break. And so it was a miracle of her life to have the governor’s convoy pull up to patronise her again!!!

            The embrace was deeply warm, hugely intense and ecstatic for her, likewise the empowerment and blessing that followed was nonetheless transforming!

Covid-19: NSCDC In Ogun State Arrested Four Villagers Of The Lockdown Who Travelled On Bike From Minna

          Operatives of the NIgerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have arrested four Northern Youths who sneaked into the State from Niger State despite inter-state travel ban by the Federal Government.

          Parading the youths in Abeokuta, the State Commandant of the Corps, Mr. Hammed Abodurin, said they were intercepted at Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta at about 10:30 Tuesday for violating the State lockdown rules and for being in the public without using face masks and riding unregistered motorcycles.

          Abodurin said, "further interrogation showed that the youths who are from Niger State with their motorcycles. They claimed to have boarded a truck conveying foodstuff from Kotangora to Lagos, alighted at Ogere and continued the journey with their motorbikes to Abeokuta where they were arrested".

          The Commandant condemned drivers for using their trucks meant to convey food items to bring in people who do not have fixed addresses and means of livelihood to State.

          He added that they would be handed over to the State Mobile Court for violating the lockdown and ban on inter-state travel for appropriate sanctions.

          He decried the non-challant attitude of the people for not obeying the sit-at-home order, but still move within the State, calling on his men to be vigilant and arrest violators as part of their efforts to curb the pandemic in the State.

          Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Goverrnor on Security, Retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, Sola Subair, reiterated the commitment of the government to protect the people at all times as well flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic.

          He warned that any person or group of people who enter the State, especially during this period of inter-state travel ban, would be returned back to their State.

          Also, Mr Kunle Somorin, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun said no matter where they hide or the means: air, road or through subterfuge, like in this case, by which these lawless people try to enter Ogun State, our law enforcement agencies would fish them out.

          Responding to questions from newsmen, one of the youth, Ayuba Musa, aged 27, denied knowledge of the lockdown in the State and the ban on inter-state travel, saying they came from Niger State as a result of hunger to Abeokuta to make a living.

          Others arrested are, Luda Joshua, 26, Amos Ibrahim, 25 and Samuel John, 30.

Covid-19: Lagos State Government Commences Advocacy On Face mask Usuage In Lagos

          Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy, on Monday, embarked on advocacy to different locations across the metropolis to sensitise residents on the importance of facemask usage as part of efforts to curb the community transmission of the COVID-19 in the State.

Speaking during the exercise, tagged “Mask-Up-Lagos”, an Assistant Director and leader of the team, Mr. Bode Lawal said the advocacy was geared towards encouraging all residents of the State on the need to support the efforts of the State Government to curb the spread of the global pandemic by using face masks.

          He observed with dismay that most Lagosians are still disobeying the directive of the Lagos State government on the use of face mask, especially in public, stressing that there is a need for all citizens to abide by the safety regulations issued by the State Government and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

          According to him, “the Governor Sanwo-Olu led administration introduced the compulsory wearing of face masks in Lagos State in order to protect all residents from droplets and secretions from coughing and sneezing, due to the fact that not everyone that is infected will show symptoms of the disease”.

          “The regular use of face masks, especially in public, combined with frequent hand washing, Social/physical distancing as well as embracing other personal hygiene safety tips are the most effective ways of containing the community spread of this ravaging pandemic”, he added.

Lawal pointed out that the enlightenment campaign, which was carried out with the use of handbills, flyers and digital van display, focused on ensuring that the general public was adequately sensitised on the importance of face mask and how it can prevent the spread of the dangerous disease within the state.

          The team leader further disclosed that, as part of the commitment to the “Mask-Up-Lagos” initiative by the present administration, the state government commissioned the production of face masks made to specifications by guidelines released by the State Ministry of Health and distributed more than a million to residents across the state free of charge.

          While calling on Lagosians to comply fully with the MaskUp policy of the Lagos State government for the safety of everyone, the Assistant Director stated that the advocacy will be extended to every part of the state in order to achieve the desired result.

          Some of the locations covered during Monday’s advocacy campaign included Maryland, Palmgrove, Onipanu. Ojuelegba, Funsho Williams Avenue, Stadium, Bode Thomas, Iponri, Constain, Orile and Apapa among others.

Queen Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi  said on her social handle that there have been strange rumours and unfounded news making rounds on social media in recent times. I want all believers of good news to know that, it is all lies and a picture of how the peddlers of the evil news would have loved our love story to turn out. I would have loved to maintain silence, however, due to concerns being expressed by well meaning people something has to be said. Now, the gospel truth is that I have been busy with ministry off the social media space and you'd all agree with me that with the ongoing pandemic which suddenly sprung up on all of us, only means more work needs to be done. I can't sit still (as nobody privileged enough should) and this isn't a time for social media presence but a time that calls for solemnity. Hence my break from what people now call normal. My Mushin the city that knows no dull moment no matter the chaos in the land.

The uniqueness of my Hood is it's comparison to certain major cities of the world that bears striking resemblance to it's socio-economic tendencies, cities like Peckham, Brixton or Hackey, Brooklyn etc.

          Welcome to Mushin Ajina a south-western part of Lagos State and largely inhabited by Yorubas but also inhabited by the Hausas who largely dominate the area called Idi-ara and the Igbos aren't left out has they dominate Ladipo market a place known for its sales of Vehicle Spare parts and Papa Ajao, the GRA of Mushin.

Mushin is a town in Lagos founded over 600 years ago, history tells us it was a jungle that nobody wanted to live in, it was a jungle they passed on their way to Eko, nobody then knew it would today become a glory known to the world. There were two hunters who came from different directions whose mindset was to explore the jungle, they normally meet under a tree called Ish in tree with its juicy fruits as a shield, sooner other hunters joined them in meeting at this particular spot. These two hunters, one was called Odu-Abore who hailed from Ile-Ife and have a Primary school in mushin named after him while the second hunter was called Aileru who hailed from Benin and have the Great King of Mushin Oba Fatal Aileru has his lineage. In the Holy Bible, the eagle was used as hope of salvation and strength for the children of God while in Islam, the eagle is said to be a symbol of  the Spirit of nobility, Its nobility gives it the stealth of a warrior and painless dominance of its environment 

 

          The Eagle is a bird with a matchless beauty  . They are endowed with eyes eight times  sharper than the eyes of man which is located at a vantage position on  the side of it's head which helps it to get a clearer and wider view.

          The  human spirit like an eagle aims for the top and leadership position..It  never allows the environment or circumstances limit how far it  can go in  life..He is forever searching for new ground to conquer The spirit of man is boundless,always looking for new frontier to conquer . 

           Even as the eagle gets a clearer picture of things and prey to pound on and it's magnificent ability to fly and stay connected to the earth so must any man with the heart of an eagle who is on his journey to fulfilment  and success be able to focus on their dreams, have a solid foundation for whatever career and passion he is into. The sharp beak and strong jaw of the eagle is used to perch on preys and it  teaches man the importance of their words, when and how to speak to make a difference and become a force to be associated with.

           The comparison of a man with an eagle is for a man to be able to take responsibility and have prowess in whatever field he finds himself and the urge to become a better being  each day is similar to the thirst for prey in an eagle. The Eagle helps a man see courage, clearer and wider vision and have strong desires to explore and grow in life.

          Keep doing the best you can, be motivated daily by yourself to do much more, be inspire to succeed, be your own cheerleader always encouraging yourself even when no one sees the good in your humble beginning. Ooni Of Ife Congratulates Dele Momodu As He Clock 60, Calls Him A Hero Of Democracy In Nigeria

          The Arole Odua, Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has lauded the prominent media guru, Basorun Dele Momodu on his 60th birthday, stating that the publisher of the widely read Ovation Magazine has done well the nation.

           In a statement by his Director of Media and Public Affairs, Comrade Moses Olafare, Ooni Ogunwusi described Momodu who alongside late journalists; Dele Giwa and Dele Agekameh grew up in the ancient Palace of Ife under the watch of Ooni Adesoji Aderemi as a man of many parts.

          "Dele Momodu is a freedom fighter who was top among the pro June 12 activists and anti-Military regime advocates who did all he could to have the country's democracy restored even when he was exiled to the United Kingdom where he founded the award winning Magazine through which he continued the fight.

          "Dele Momodu is an unbeatable name in the media industry and socio-political space across Africa who through hardwork and consistence have been promoting the noble Yoruba cultural heritage.

          "Despite coming from the Niger Delta part of the country, it is awesome to know that Momodu chose to study Yoruba language over Law which was recommended by his parents. Ever since, he has been a strong promoter of the prestigious Yoruba cultural heritage and he is a son of the soil by all ramifications." The Ooni noted.

          Ooni Ogunwusi however wished the media luminary a healthy long life filled with prosperity.

          "Bob Dee, you are hereby celebrated as a member of the inner house of the House of Oduduwa on this very special day of your 60th Birthday Anniversary. May the Almighty Olodumare richly characterize your new age and the rest of your journey of life with sound health and immeasurable prosperity." Ooni prayed.
