COVID-19: Apelogun Puts Smiles On People's Face; Distributes Food Items To Sagamu Residents

         Observing the tenet of the above assertion, The National President, Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Alhaji Samsideen Adebayo Apelogun All-Rounder, today disbursed food items to the masses who are observing the stay at home directives of the State and Federal government.

         The distribution was held in sagamu in a bid to alleviate people’s suffering in this stay at home order. ACOMORAN National President, said the distribution will be equally made to all the 15 wards in the Local Government and coordinated by a trusted ally to make sure the targeted people get a share of the goodies.

         "While observing this stay at home directives, we should always remember our Neighbours and the Less Privilege in our Society. With this, there will be low rate of criminality and social vices pending the time the pandemic will be curtailed." echoes All-Rounder.

          He reiterated that, it's high time for the rich and influential to support the pillar of the society and avert it from shrinking by giving out the little the community would appreciate.

         Undoubtedly, the act of building our Future together can't be done alone, let us all engage in the service to humanity and fight this pandemic together.

NAPS Appraise Ekiti,Ogun,Osun And Ondo State Governors On Rapid Intervention Towards Curbing And Preventing The Spread Of COVID-19

        If every conceivable precaution is taken at first, one is often too discouraged to proceed at all.

        The leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students under the watch of active president His Excellency Comr. Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye commend EKITI, Ogun and Ondo State Governments for their proactive methods put in place to contain the outbreak of corona virus in their respective state since it was declared by the W.H.O as a pandemic.

        In a statement made available by the National President at a press conference held at Nigeria Union of Journalist Hall Abeokuta, The NAPS National President commended the Governor of Ogun State, Prince. Dapo Abiodun and his honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker for partnering with student bodies and other Stakeholders to prevent spreading of corona virus. Comr. Olasunkanmi Ijaduoye appreciated the Ministry who also organized an orientation seminar for the student leaders within the state on how to orientate their fellow students and parents.

        Olasunkanmi also appreciated the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi for providing free shuttle for the Ekiti State students to their various homes, an initiative that has helped most of our students who should have been stranded in their various institutions.

       

        He also extended courtesy to the Governor of Ondo and Osun for being ready to partner with the students as the students remain partner in progress for a better and a promising Nigeria .

   

    

        NAPS National President also call on students and parents to stay safe from the virus which has held the globe to ransom, COVID19 is a deadly disease that we all will surmount as a race as as health remains everyone’s wealth.

        Olasunkanmi however react to the poor attitude of the Lagos State Ministry of Health who unlike its counterparts are showing no cooperation to work with the students body.

        NAPS on that note call on Lagos State Commissioner for Health to partner with students leaders and every other meaningful stakeholders to curb the further spread of the virus as Lagos state remain Center of Excellence.

NAPS Applaud Governor Fayemi On His Immense Contribution Towards The Students Of Ekiti State On COVID-19

     

  

        The National Association Of Polythenic Students applaud the Executive Governor of Ekiti State,  Doctor Fayemi on his positive and immense contributions towards to  welfare of Ekiti State Students with the Outbreak of Corona virus. 

        The Association under it's President Comrade Sunkanmi Ijadunoye appreciate the Governor who had shown to the world the the students matters in his administration and their welfare is of utmost priority to his administration.  The provision of buses and other social amenities to make the period less stressful for the students of the State is worth commending.

        At the Press Conference held at Nigeria Union of Journalist Hall, Abeokuta, the Executives were of one voice in appreciation to Doctor Kayode Fayemi for the creation of shuttle buses which is free and had helped the movement of students in the State.

        He therefore,  beseech the Governor not to relent in his goodwill and development of the State and the welfare of the Students in the State, he said.

        

Ola Muritala On COVID-19: No Sane Individual Will Play Politics With Current Perilous Corona Virus Pandemic, Let There Be Decorum

It is highly disheartening seeing some members of the opposition playing politics with the current predicament in the country and Ogun State in Particular.

I read on the social media network where the All People's Movement (APM) Gubernatorial Candidate in the last governorship election in Ogun State, Hon. Abdulkabr Adekunle Akinlade accused that "10 months ago, many members of Gov. Abiodun Administration allegedly berated ex Gov. Amosun for deploying the state's resources in constructing what they describe as a needless 250-bed ultra modern hospital and further said, today, the facility is among one of the equipped medical outfits in the country". Hon. Akinlade further asked if former governor Amosun knew the country will encounter Coronavirus epidemic and he answered No. I have nothing much to speak about but would only like to humbly advise the APM chieftain and others who may also like to play politics with the current situation to please suspend all politics regarding that for now and join hands together with the government at Federal, State and Local levels to battle the deadly mass spreading Perilous disease. This is not the time for anyone to play politics at all. However, has anyone told Hon. Akinlade that Gov. Dapo Abiodun will not build times 10 of what the Ex governor Amosun built? After all, Governor Amosun did not build the said ultra modern hospital in his first day in office or his first year. So, why comparing and contrasting? Not even at this delicate time. We still have a lot of politics to play but not now.

We should continue to appreciate our government most especially, the government of our State, Ogun State under the leadership of a good hearted Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, for measures so far being taken to curb this Perilous disease rather than making comparison between the past and the present and also praising one's Master but casting aspersions on the current government and Leadership.

  Our prayer should be 'Mercy of God over us and our leaders" not to play politics. May God save us from the deadly Coronavirus and forgive us our sins.

Honourable MKO Distributes Sanitizers, Hand Gloves And Other Preventive Materials

Honourable Mustapha Kodaolu Olajide, Distributed Sanitizers Hand gloves and other Preventive materials to people of Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State.

        This gesture started on Monday with a visitation to the Primary Health Centre Oke-Ilewo where Honourable Kodaolu alongside the Caretaker Chairman ably represented by Hon. Mrs Iyabode Adebambo the Supervisor For Primary Health Care Centre sensitized nursing mothers on the need to be more cautious as the Virus in town is a respected of Nobody.

        The Team was received by the Matron in Charge, Matron Shoronke who expressed joy as she lamented that there was already shortage of this materials and they are really finding it hard to purchase the items and this donation by Honourable Mko isn't just a good one but a Laudable one.

        In the same vein, Honourable  Mustapha donated another set of COVID-19 Preventive Materials to the Local Government. The materials was received by The Caretaker Committee Chaired by Hon. Ayomide Shomide. The Chairman expressed satisfaction with this initiative done by MKO and urged him to do more as there's need to protect everyone from the Virus.

        However The Secretary to the Local Government also expressed his gratitude and emphasised that there's need for others to emulate Hon. Mko. He stated that Abeokuta South is the premier L.G and there is a need to lead by example so due to this, the LG would exploit all necessary Avenue to curb the spread of the Virus in Abeokuta South.

        In his response, Honourable Mustapha thanked the LGA for the warm welcome and expressed his willingness to do more. He however urged the LG to work with all quarters to curb this Virus.

        On Tuesday also, Honourable MKO alongside some Chinese Officials of the World Health Organisation (WHO) visited the Kuto Market to Sensitize the traders on the need to take precautionary measures to prevent the Spread of COVID-19. They urged traders to limit their association with people as much as possible as it's important that we collectively curb the outbreak of this pandemic in our dear State and Country as a whole.

Adhere To Government Directives On COVID-19, Sowunmi Urges Riders ..... AFO Liberation Movement Congratulates Sowunmi

The popular grassroots group and socio-economic movement, Afo Liberation Movement has congratulated the Ogun state Chairman of Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners And Riders Association Of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Aco. Kayode Amos Sowunmi JP and other executive members of his cabinet, following their victory at the recent election.

The group who noted that their ideology and support was drawn from the Honourable Commissioner of Chieftancy and Local Government Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape (AFO), visited the ACOMORAN secretariat during their executive inaugural meeting to identify with the chairman and members of the union.

During the Presentation, the Chairman of the movement, Comrade Jimoh Waheed appreciated Aco. Showunmi who have been a formidable supporter of their movement since its birth. He said AFL decided to bestow this courtsey visits and honour to Aco. Showunmi due to his sense of humility and respect to all and sundry; stressing that only men of courage and confidence can be respected and celebrated.

Aco. Showunmi while responding commended the movement for finding him worthy of the visitation and award. He expressed his gratitude alongside his executive members. He said the honour had affirmed that his effort through Afo Liberation Movement is felt.

Furthermore, Sowunmi urged all Okada riders, ticketers and commuters to take and adhere to the government instructions to curb the spread of the deadly COVID-19, otherwise known as coronavirus.

He pledged his unrelenting support to Afo Liberation Movement. He further urged members of the movement to be steadfast and be an ambassador of peace. He noted that the movement will go along way by doing that.

        In a Press conference on Sunday, 22nd of March 2020, the National Association Of Polythenics Students NAPS through the General- Secretary Comrade Bankole Babatunde Yusuff celebrates Mrs Tolulope Onalaja, the Executive Director of Revolution Plus Properties, who is also the wife of the Real Estate Guru, Mr Bamidele Onalaja.

       

        Comrade Yussuf stated that the NAPS executives and members decided to celebrate Mrs Tolulope Onalaja on International Women's Day 2020 to commend her works and achievements in the Real Estate world and her immense contributions towards to development of the Students and Youths Growth in the Country. She is one of the outstanding women who had made great commendable impact towards humanity and it is worth celebrating her as our role model and a Great Woman so therefore NAPS decided to Celebrate her as the Mother Of The Year.

         NAPS executives also in the interview stated that soon they will be organizing a lecture /symposium to celebrate Mr Bamidele Onalaja for his Great Achievements and contributions to the development of Real Estate world and how he has helped lives and humanity. The First Bamidele Onalaja Lecture will be holding soon to Celebrate this wonderful man and how he has supported the students and Youths in the country and the avenue will be used to speak to our students and Youths on how to be useful to themselves and the Nation as a whole. Honourable Kadiri Supports Awa Community, Promises Better Representation

The Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Dare Kadiri, donated One Million Naira to Awa Ijebu Muslim community as one of his campaign promises to the people.

While making the donation, he appreciated the people of Awa for their continued support for APC and the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun, adding that the support of the people is needed to ensure a better Ogun State.

He promised many more benefits to the people, saying that the essence of governance is for the people to have a good life.

Ogun State: Efele Ijebu, 18 Others Inaugurated Into RTEAN

        The newly inaugurated Chairman of the Road Transport Employers' Association Of Nigeria, RTEAN, Ogun State Chapter, Alhaji Akibu Titilayo, Efele Ijebu, and 18 other members of the Executive Cabinet has formally been inaugurated.

        The event, which took place at the Ogun State RTEAN Secretariat, Somorin, Obantoko area of Abeokuta, Ogun State saw 18 new Executive Members and the State Chairman take their oaths.

        The newly inaugurated union Public Relations Officer, Adeyemi Adeleye, (a.k.a Moscow), while speaking to journalists, pointed out that the interests of transport workers under Efele's chairmanship will be protected. He assured of commuters’ safety, timely and affordable transport fare.

        According to him, part of his chairman's agenda was to see commercial bus drivers obey the rules and regulations of the Ogun State Traffic Law and anyone caught fomenting trouble or extorting passengers will face the wrath of the law.

        He said: “This is a new dawn in the history of transport union in Ogun state, and Efele means business. We are here to put an end to misconducts of transport workers in Ogun State.

        He urged Ogun citizens to support the union. He argued that the office of the Public Relations Officer will soon communicate some complaint lines to the general public. "If any of our members misbehave, they should contact the state council and such person will be discipline", Moscow said.

Few days before my birthday, I read a quote from Fred De Witt Van Amburgh saying that, None is more impoverished than the one who has no gratitude. Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy.

My heart was filled with joy and happiness because I never thought of the numbers of calls, texts, prayers, wishes, posts, comments, and many others who spared time out of their busy schedule to celebrate with me in my country home.

Woman : You Are Worth More Than You Ever Think

       

My name is M'o Empress, am a woman who lives passionately, I love what I do and with much zeal I daily encourage and build other people around me especially other women. I try so much to live in a decent way so people could believe in me and listen to what I want to say. I want to build my brand, "House Of Mo outfits" to a household name in fashion, want to make impact in terms of raising the standards in my career and my priority is giving satisfaction to my customers .

        Am a woman, created by God for a purpose in this generation and daily I work and try to discover more about this purpose I am fulfilling.  I work hard at being the best I can be. I do not wait for men to show me sympathy or beg them daily to survive because am a woman. I work hard , I invest my best and allow God to give the increase.

        As a woman, you may not have all you want, you learn to be a good problem-solver, you learn to be resourceful and innovative in every area you find yourself, you don't know who is watching your input, recommendation will show forth someday soon. 

         As a woman,  major lesson for life is learning the ability to listen to God for life's decisions. Learn to be strong as a woman and be able to cope with whatever life throws your way. There is need to have mentors for different spheres of life. Daily, live your life, bringing glory to God and for the benefits of humanity. I have learnt that Life is not a hundred meter race but a marathon, never time yourself on somebody else' watch. When things go the other way from your plan, don't dwell on it,  move on with your life and go for the light at the end of the tunnel.

        The Ogun state public relations officer of Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle And Motorcycle Owners, Repairs And Riders Association Of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Aremo Akinlolu Agunbiade, has hailed the leadership qualities of the National President of the association, Prince Adebayo Samsudeen Apelogun, describing him as a great leader of the present generation.

        Agunbiade, rejoicing with Prince Apelogun on his birthday celebration, said the former Ogun State ACOMORAN chairman “leadership qualities and ability to discover and nurture talents for the greater good of the public are uncommon and unrivalled among his peers.”

        In Agunbiade’s celebration message, he said, “I salute you, great leader, for the milestones you have attained in this association as a former state chairman and now as the national president. You have made sweeping reforms that your successors will build on to make Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners And Riders Association Of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) great.”

        Agunbiade also praised what he called the pioneering efforts of Prince Apelogun in the creation of modern ACOMORAN, which he said has become the role model for other state in the country to emulate.

        When I left white collar job ,it wasn't easy though but I took up the courage and decided to face the unknown future, many people I met in the office and left there weren't cool being there but some fear the unknown future and where the next meal will come from..... 

        It had been a long, rough, beautiful, painful, regrets and success, lost and achievements and here is MO still standing, I might have not gotten there yet but sure I am not where I used to be, it's all a journey and road to fulfilment of destiny, my On Becoming journey to the Empire of #HouseofMO outfits, a dream of mine.
