Lockdown As A Precautionary Method: A blesssing Or A Pain To The Citizens.

I will agree perfectly with all precautionary measures on the prevention of Covid-19 and to curtail the spread...

But the lockdown is not in anyway commonsensical in this whole issue. In a layman term, you can say wait! when you know when evil will go or stop. You can advise or give instruction that someone should stay down when you are sure of how long the flies or whatever is disturbing will end, but definitely not in the case of a pandemic of a novel nature as this present one.

Telling people to stay indoor without a means of sustainace will do more harm than the covid itself. Telling people to wait until what we all don't know when it will end is irrational.

Ebola is more deadlier, Malaria has killed more than Covid-19 since its breakout, none of the two earlier mentioned did we had a lockdown for. Several people has been treated, tested negative and discharged of Covid-19, but not in the case of Ebola it killed 95 percent of anyone that contacted it, many can't survive malaria after 3days.

I won't mind doing more of the sensitisation on the prevention of the spread of Corona, let every interested individuals also do. Let the Covid-19 campaign be so rigorous and allow everyday activities to continue, then we'll all be safer.

Observation: queues and mammoth in banks and other public places on Monday and today is different, there wouldn't have been any if there was no lockdown at all.

Many thanks to Ogun State Government for the sensitisation they've been doing and more importantly the one they started since Monday and the new "I PROTECT YOU, YOU PROTECT ME" that started yesterday, it's a very good one.

Kudos to the Police and other security outfits in Ogun State for doing the needful when the hoodlums started, but naturally these whole thing can die a natural death or be curtailed to the minimal if everyone has a place of work to go to every morning.

Ogun State indigenes are not known for laziness hence the acronym "OMO OGUN ISE YA".

Let everyone understands what harm they are exposed to by not preventing themselves and adhering to the precautionary measures and we'll all have a safer environment.
