The youths in Ijebu, area of Ogun state has commended the Ogun state governor, prince Dapo Abiodun for declaring covid-19 test free for all returning SSS3 students in private and public schools.
The commendation was stated in a release signed by the president of Ijebu Youth Association comrade Fayomi Wasiu Okikiola which was made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The youths described governor Abiodun as a democrat, urging the public to disregard report that Dapo Abiodun directed the private schools students to pay 25,000 naira.
The release reads ''the action of the state governor showed that the current administration is not insensitive to the plight of the people.
You will recall that the Ogun state governor on Monday declared declared COVID -19 test free for all returning SSS3 students in private and public schools.
Abiodun also instructed testing centres to commence the free test immediately.
The government further directed that those that had already paid for the test should be refunded.
The youths therefore urged the residents of Ogun state to continue to support the administration of Dapo Abiodun to end covid-19 in Ogun.
