FOLA SALAMI, THE CHAIRMAN OF IFO LOCAL GOVERNMENT MONITORS THE ROAD PALLATIVES IN HIS AREAS WHILE APPRECIATING THE GOVERNOR





          Yesterday 7th, August, 2020, Hon. Fola Salami, Chairman, Transition Committee, Ifo Local Government, went on assessment tour to the roads undergoing palliatives by the state government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun.


          Honourable Fola was elated by the pace of work so far, as Denro-Ishasi road have now been made fully accessible for goods and commuters as a journey taking longer than expected now reduced to the the barest minimum.

          It was indeed a sign of relief to all residents, as no visible potholes was seen across the roads and the number of vehicles on the road as doubled and economic activity has sprang back up.


          The road palliative have now moved to Ajuwon road and that of Yawele area of Ajuwon/Akute/Ojodu Abiodun Area of the local government. The manner at which the work is going is impressive and it has been promised that the solid palliative work will commence on Olusegun Osoba road immediately that of the axis in question is completed. Olusegun Osoba road connects starts from Toyin bus stop and terminates at Agbado.

          The Chairman encouraged the engineers and other workers on site for their dedicated service.

           Meanwhile, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has promised that immediately the rain season ends full reconstruction of major roads in Ifo constituency II will commence as part of his resolve to see that the State get rid of bad roads.


          This adminstration has completed the 4.2 kilometre Vespa-Asuje-Olose Titun-Ikorita Meje road in Ifo township and had also began the rehabilitation of Isheri township road along the Ojodu berger area of the local Government.


           Hon. Fola on behalf of the people of Ifo local government thanked Governor Abiodun, for his deep sense of love and compassion by listening to the yarnings of the people by making sure stand palliative work are done before full reconstruction commenced.
