As Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the Chairman of the Ogun State Park Management Board (OGSPAM), Alhaji Akeem Bodunrin Iyeru, has urged them to continue to uphold and promote the core values of Islam for the sustenance of peace, unity and progress of the country.
In a Sallah message released from his media Office, Alhaji Iyeru, who felicitated with Muslim faithful, also wished them the guidance and blessings of Allah, calling on all Nigerians to continue to supplicate for the progress of the country, through good deeds, sacrifice and abiding faith in God.
"Eld- El-Kabir is a celebration that honors the prophet Ibrahim’s selflessness and willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command. Let us continue to uphold and promote the core values of Islam for the sustenance of peace, unity and progress of the country.
"We should never fall short of our reputation as an inclusive society, where all religions continue to live in peace and harmony with each other.
"Lastly, let us continue to support Gov. Dapo Abiodun in his quest to making life more abundant for the people of Ogun State, he said.
