The Programme Manager of the Ogun State Agricultural Development Programmes, OGADEP, Mrs Taiwo Ayansanwo has assured that her agency would not shortchange the youths of Ogun State in the various ongoing Agricultural programmes.
Mrs Ayansanwo who is also the Project Director of the State Anchor Borrowers Program, gave the assurance while playing host to the leadership of the Ogun State Coordinate of the All Progressives Congress Youth League, APCYL at the OGADEP Office, in Abeokuta.
She noted that the youths constituency was part of government's target in its Agricultural Revolution, advising youths to take advantage of all Agricultural Programmes in order to empower themselves.
"All youths in the state should come on board for any of the Agricultural Support Programmes especially the Anchor Borrowers Scheme" She opined
In his reaction, Coordinator of the League, Comrade Olamide Lawal pointed out that the Youths in the state have strong belief in the present administration, maintaining that most programmes and policies of government are youth centred.
He called for the Support of the project director, in order to revive the "Farming-Spirit" of the youths.
According to Lawal, " Ogun State is blessed with Energetic youths who believed there is Dignity in Labour. We are ready to patronize any developmental programme of the state government".
"We shall make full use of this Anchor Borrowers programme of government but we want you to give us all Supports needed to execute the projects" he said
