EID-EL-KABIR, OLU ORILR KEMTA SENDS GOODWILL MESSAGES TO ALL MUSLIM FAITHFUL




          The Olu Orile Kemta, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Amb) Adetokunbo Gbadegeshin Okikiola Tejuosho felicitate with Muslim throughout the world on this year's Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. Describing it as time for conscious effort to pray vigorously to Allah to heal the world in it's entirety.

           The Monarch made this statement through his office on Media and Public affair on Friday the 31st July, 2020. He said "religion should be used as a means to advance love, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence among the people" He implored Nigerians to continue to pursue peace, love and unity that we stand for as a country. And also not relent in praying for healing across the globe to end the reigns of the current plague in the world.

          He stressed that Muslims should practice the virtue of Islam as professed by Prophet Mohammad (SAW). As he advised Muslims to imbibe the lessons of total submission and obedience to the acts of Almighty Allah.

          Kabiyesi urged everyone to be law abiding, follow the laid down guidelines of social distancing and keep proper hygienic measures during and after the celebration of this holy Islamic festival.

          In his statement:
"Our ultimate objectives should be collective effort to live in harmony, support one another irrespective of religious, ethnic and political inclination, for sustainable development of our dear country Nigeria".

          He further stressed that Nigerians across board should be brothers keepers; by remembering one another in prayers and assist the hurting, the sick, and victims of Covid-19.

          He therefore, wished all Nigerians a peaceful and joyful celebrations.
